 Challenging

by Lisa Drummond

About the Author

Bonjour ladies and gentlemen.

I’m originally from the US where I grew up in your typical small town in middle America. Now in my late 20’s I live in France with my two lovers, Renard and Monique. We share a lovely apartment in Paris where I study interior design and my roomies are enrolled in art school.

I don’t know what the normal erotic author looks like but to set your mind at ease I have waist length red hair, long toned legs and a body most women would kill for. To that end several times clothing designers pleaded, on their knees, for me to model their clothes. I refused them as I found them lacking in many area, one in particular.

About a year ago I took up writing at the encouragement of Monique. She thought the world should know how in love the three of us are. When I stared to put pen to paper, so to speak, I didn’t want your typical erotic stories so I searched for the best way to express our emotions. It was Renard who suggested shapeshifters as he’d just finished a series of paintings on the subject.

I’ve found that I love writing so much I plan to cut back on my classes so I can devote more time to giving you hot, steamy erotic romance.

This will get both of your brains into what I want, she thought as she started to come, not realizing he was standing in the doorway.

“That’s not going to work except get you to come again. Look Tatiana, I’ve got a feeling we could be in real trouble and we need to figure out how to handle it.”

Not even getting caught made her blush, but she knew he was right. Against her baser needs she stopped and covered herself.

“Sorry. I guess I’m wanting to hide from what I learned, which is the same as you.”

“I understand, darling, but we have to deal with it before it gets out of hand. I can tell you this, though, I’m not leaving you. As we learned at my house, we are meant to be together and bring a new generation of shifters into the world.”

“I’m glad you want to stay with me because I can’t ever see leaving you. I’d rather die first,” Tatiana said, taking the offered wine glass then taking a sip.

“What did your mistress tell you?”

“Like the Spirit told us, there’s a new shifter coming which will change our lives forever. Fortunately she didn’t seem to focus on me but everyone in the conclave. That’s what has me worried though,” she started.

“I don’t understand. If she didn’t target you, why would that make you nervous? I’d think you’d be relieved.”

“She seemed to be concentrating on one of the older clan members, which makes me wonder if, besides us, something or someone else might be coming.”

“You mean to endanger us?”

“Yes. What if another type of shifter is coming which can hurt or kill one or both of us? Then everything would be lost.”

“I find this interesting because my master led us to believe what was coming would be the dawning of a new age. Either one or both are lying to get us to come out into the open.”

“Rich, what did he mean by new age, since it’s similar to what my mistress told us?”

“That’s something I’m not sure about. Like with your mistress, he didn’t set his sights on one shifter in particular, but all of us.”

Tatiana took another sip of her wine, enjoying the fruity taste of it, and settled back against the thick pillows. Between what she’d learned at her clan meeting and what Rich now told her, she knew, or at least suspected, someone was lying. What she did know was it wasn’t him as she’d learned if he was while staying at his log house.

Was it possible both clan heads knew they were part of the new change, which threatened their leadership and power over everyone? Studying Rich, she could tell he was having the same thoughts, which was good as it would put them both on the offensive if necessary.

 Redemption For a Dark Soul

by Nicole Campbell

About the Author

A long time ago Nicole decided there were too many perfect characters in the books she read. She decided that she would add imperfections to her characters to make them feel more real, even if it was only in her own heart, but she hopes you enjoy reading about them as much as she loves creating each and every one of them.

Whether in the foothills of the Laurel Highlands in Southwest Pennsylvania or in the little worlds of her own making, Nicole is happy to be at home with her husband, her children, and rambunctious dogs. After all, every day is an adventure and you should live it as such. Tomorrow is never a guarantee – live for today and be sure to tell those you love that you love them. You never know when you won’t have that chance again.

Never stop dreaming – never stop believing – If you want the moon and stars – go get them… They won’t just land in your lap without a little bit of help.

redempBlurb:

Jaeger Reineiner is a vampire on a mission. No more lurking in shadows or hiding in the middle of nowhere – the tattooed, pierced black denim and leather clad bad boy wants a more normal life. He wants to win the heart of the little Goth spitfire he feels can redeem the red from his soul – the red stain of blood from centuries working as an assassin for hire.

Emily O’Connell, the youngest Deputy Coroner in state history hasn’t had time for love until Jaeger walked into her life and she couldn’t imagine him walking out. When his psychotic past hunts him down to kidnap her, cause chaos and bloodshed, and use her as bait to get to him, Emily will fight for him and beside him.

Is Jaeger’s love for her strong enough to find her in time? Will Emily’s love for him prove pure enough to redeem his soul?

Excerpt 1

Jaeger thought of Emily constantly. It was true there was nothing but black in his wardrobe, but he’d begun adding chains and spikes to switch between Badass Biker Assassin ‘just-leave-me-alone-and-I’ll-let-you-live’ look to be a little more Goth like Emily. He hoped she took the change in his look as a compliment, and not as being a copycat or creepy. He inhaled her scent—jasmine, vanilla and woman—it made his head spin. “Alone at last,” he chuckled.

Emily sighed as she tossed the magazine to the table. “So we are.”

His blood pressure shot up when she coyly looked down at her lap, then slowly back up at him through her lashes, lowering her voice to just above a whisper.

“Jaeger, thank you again for finding Marlin and bringing him home to Mary. She was so worried she’d screwed up their whole relationship.”

Jaeger shrugged. “It wasn’t a big deal. There’s almost nothing I wouldn’t do to help him or Paul. They’re my brothers. I’m already happier here in Pennsylvania than I ever was in Ontario. The scenery is much prettier.”

Emily’s jaw dropped a little and she started to blush. “Are you flirting with me?”

“Yes. I am.”

“Why?” Emily immediately went on the defensive. With her record-of-accomplishment of users and liars, it was almost natural for her to question anyone’s motives.

“Because there’s something about you that caught my attention, caught me when I first saw you and heard your voice. I’m told women today like honesty, so I’m being honest. I’m not used to attempting to win a woman. The women I was used to, years ago, weren’t big on the word kind of discussion.” He waggled his eyebrows to be sure she got his meaning, and laughed when she narrowed her eyes at him. “Paul and Marlin said you know about us—you’re aware of our family kind, I should say. You should know that we’re all hunters at heart. Just some are better at it than others.” His German accent became thicker the more he was aroused by a woman, a hunt—or in this case, both—or a fight. He smiled at her nod of understanding. “I am glad you understand all this. Know this as gospel truth, my Emily. As I said, there is something about you that has caught me, and I will catch you.”

“You plan to lead me into temptation then?” Emily laughed, with a devilish twinkle in her silvery-grey eyes. “Or is it the other way around?”

He wanted so much to pounce on her, to wipe that cocky grin from her face, make her whimper for him and prove who would win the temptation game. “Temptation? I cannot be led into temptation, my dear girl. I am temptation.”

Emily only laughed, as if she’d figured everything out beforehand and already made up her mind. “You are temptation? What if I’m not so easily led?” The challenging gleam in Emily’s eyes was too much for Jaeger to deny.

“Then I shall have to prove I’m worth it.”

Emily laughed. “Men are after one thing. When they finally win that pussy prize and get tired of it, or see a prettier piece of ass walking down the street, off they go. You want me to think you’re different, or that you’re not another one of the out-of-work bums looking for a new cash-mama to take care of him so you can lay on my couch watching television all day.” She shook her head. “You’ve got a long hard road ahead of you, buddy. This girl don’t trust men any farther than she can throw them. There are just way too many bad experiences when the word trust was involved.”

“Buddy? I am not ‘buddy’! I am Jaeger Baldwyn Reiniener. Would it impress you to know that was once the Markgraf of Speyer? I ran an entire city-state, like an emperor or a king.” He laughed bitterly.

Emily shook her head. “Are all you guys some kind of European royalty? Damn! But no, Jay, it don’t impress me.”

He smiled. “Jay? I think I like this shortening of my name. Especially with that foul alcohol on the market. People add ‘meister’ to my name all the time, and find it funny. I think I will like to use Jay.” His grin broadened. “I also like a woman who isn’t impressed by something so silly and outdated. You are a smart woman, my Emily. Your intelligence shows in your eyes.” He drew a finger down her cheek, causing her to lower her eyes and hide them from him. “Why do you hide from me now? They are an amazing color. In all my centuries, I have very rarely seen silver eyes in a human woman. I like to see them sparkle with laughter, and can’t help but wonder…do they darken to the grey of storm clouds when you get truly angry, or caught up in the throes of passion and lust?”

—————————————————————————————————————————————————————

Excerpt 2

Jaeger looked down to find devotion shining in Emily’s eyes back up at him. His heart swelled with his cock, but he didn’t want to finish in her mouth—even if it was what she had planned for right now. Her wicked little tongue flicked over his Prince Albert, making his knees go weak. Pushing her back gently, Jaeger pulled her up against his chest to kiss Emily deeply, holding her as close as he could. He shut the water off, since it was starting to go cold, and lifted her out of the shower to set her on the vanity top beside the sink. As they both dripped onto the tile floor, Jaeger toed the throw-rug under them to keep from slipping around, then pulled her to the edge of the counter and kissed her hard. He pulled back and smiled. “Thank God the other woman on this floor is damn near deaf.” He smiled as he knelt before her, and his face disappeared between her legs. He kissed her inner thighs, alternating left and right. Each kiss landed a little higher until he reached his goal, and without delay Jaeger busied himself licking and sucking Emily’s clit, gently tugging on her hood ring until she had a death grip on the edge of the vanity counter and panted his name. Panting wasn’t good enough for him. He stood and pulled Emily against his chest, kissing her deeply while his fingers toyed with her hood ring. Almost roughly, he spun her around and bent her against the counter, entering her in one firm thrust.

Emily screamed his name as her first orgasm crashed over her almost immediately. She wasn’t expecting his rough handling, and she liked it. Looking into the mirror at him, Emily could see that his eyes were bloody red, and it triggered a smaller orgasm to know he was that turned on, that hungry for her. “Oh, fuck me…” she said on a long drawn-out moan.

Jaeger checked himself. He didn’t want to feel as if he’d taken her against her will. He’d felt and heard her orgasms, but he didn’t want to hurt his precious Emily or get too rough with her. She wasn’t turned, she couldn’t handle him losing control. Leaning against her back, he set his teeth on the back of her neck and clamped down hard to mark her, before easing up his thrusts to lift her legs like a wheelbarrow. “Flip over, baby.” Still buried deep inside her, Jaeger helped her turn over to face him and set her ass on the counter. He smiled against her panting mouth when she instinctively wrapped her legs around his hips.

Emily wrapped her arms around his neck. “I was so afraid I was going to lose you,” she whispered. She kissed him with a hunger that would leave her lips swollen and bruised, but she didn’t care. “I love you Jaeger. I need you. I’ve never learned how to really love anyone but Mary, and that’s a different love. I just know I don’t want to be without you, ever.”

Jaeger slid his hands under her ass and carried her to her bed. They were both still wet, but neither cared. “I’ve never truly loved, either. We will learn together. I’ll not let you go. Not when I feel that you are the one to make me a better man, the one I’ve searched for to redeem my reddened soul. My heart is yours, Emily. You make me feel whole.”

She unlocked her ankles and slid back on the bed until she was centered, and stacked a couple of pillows under her head. Spreading her thighs and looking into his eyes, Emily beckoned him closer.

Jaeger’s eyes held the predatory gleam she loved as he smiled. “Ich bin da loei, sie zuessen, bis sie schreien.” At her puzzled look he chuckled and continued. “Vador a mangiare fino a quando non sigrido.” When Emily rolled her eyes at him, Jaeger pounced on her, his hands splayed across her hips to hold her still. “I said I’m going to eat you until you scream. First in German, then in Italian.” He gave her one long slow lick then looked up at her. “Then I want you to ride me baby. Be my cowgirl, and show me what it means to feel alive.”

For hours they went at each other like rabbits—if rabbits got freaky, that is – from licking here, stroking there, changing positions until finally Jaeger stood Emily on shaky legs beside her bed. He had her hands on the wall, slightly bent over as he entered her slowly and pulled her right leg back up almost around his hip.

“Yes, Jaeger, yes!” Emily panted, barely able to keep herself up. She could feel the orgasm building. “Don’t stop, baby!”

Jaeger grunted. “Not stopping till you come for me, love. Give it to me.” He groaned, feeling her inner walls tighten against him, making him hyper-aware of his piercings.

No more words were coming from Emily. She moaned and screamed as ecstasy took control of her body. She’d been trying to tell him she loved him, but the words wouldn’t form in the midst of orgasm. As her body tightened around his, and her cream began to flow in time with her screams and violent body shudders, Jaeger threw his head back, bellowing his own release deep inside her, his own body shuddering almost as violently. He caught Emily before her jelly legs gave out, and flipped them both to her bed.

Author Interview: Virginnia De Parté

“By writing about the future I have the pleasure of waiting for science and technology to catch up with my imagination.”

-Virginnia De Parté

LovesRedHeart_SMVirginnia is the author of Love’s Bright Star, Love’s Red Heart and A Talent for Loving, all three books part of a series about genetically altered humans.  Besides writing futuristic romances, she also writes poetry, haiku and tanka.

I asked her some questions to get to know her better.  Read on and find out more about Virginnia.

1. What genre do you write and why?

I write futuristic romance about genetically altered people. I find it easier to design situations, imagine technical advancements and create the quirks of genetically altered people – than to write in the ‘here and now’ and have the story become dated within a year.

2. Why do you write?

I’ve always written long emails, long letters, long messages, and had a fertile imagination. At last I have found space in my life to indulge myself and put all the characters that inhabit my head, out on paper.  They write their own stories, once I get them started.

3. Do you have any other talents besides writing?

Yes, I spun wool fibre and knitted the yarn for many years. Because I became bored with white, brown and grey fleeces I took up dyeing the spun yarn and moved on to dyeing other fibres and threads from there. I’ve spent time as a quiltmaker, using my dyed fabrics – but all that has been abandoned to allow me more time to write.  I also write poetry and try to use this skill in my prose, without overdoing it.

4. What is your advice to newbie authors?

Persevere, don’t give up. Be brave!  You have to be brave to put your work out for the world to read. Before it gets to the world’s stage you have to allow it to be critiqued. You need fresh eyes to read it and spot the plot holes and errors.  You have to take this on the chin, make the corrections and try harder. You wouldn’t send your child on stage dressed in ripped untidy clothes, messed hair, and scuffed shoes. Neither should you let your manuscript be viewed as a final edition until it has been polished for typos, grammar, spelling (American v. English), and other errors, such as point of view changes and change of tense.

5. Who is your favorite character you’ve created and why?

It must be Stella Corban, granddaughter of William and Belinda, daughter of James and Siobhan. She can become invisible behind her rainbow curtain; jump between locations (like her grandfather); and “see’ the people she cares about when they’re troubled.  She is tall, graceful (cat genes from her mother) has blue/green eyes with a hint of lavender (from her grandmother). She is loyal and caring and the safety of the family is her priority as she lives and works among ‘normals. ’

She is a newborn in Love’s Bright Star, a six year old in Love’s Red Heart, and I am presently writing her romance, in which her love for a ’normal’ could put her family’s safety at risk if he discovers she is genetically altered.

ATalentforLoving_SMAnd to end the interview I leave you with an excerpt from Virginna’s, A Talent for Loving

She looked at him as he gazed out to sea. His thick brown hair hugged his head and small curls tucked around his ears. She tightened her arm around his waist and leaned into his chest. So far the day has been lovely. The view from the touring bus was so much better with higher expansive views than travelling the Great Ocean Road by car. There’d been several stops for photo opportunities, but this pause in the journey allowed everyone an hour to walk and explore, to feel the sand between their toes, and fill their lungs with ozone-laden sea air

“The surf’s building. There’s a blow on the way.” He pointed to the south. “See the breakers out there? They’re coming closer by the minute. I bet the wind gets up when they get closer to shore.”

She followed his gaze and looked out to sea before glancing back to the surf below them. Could that black dot be a seal? Or was it a surfer in a wetsuit? Oh God! No! She shook his arm and prodded his shoulder.

“Wills, is that a person in the surf? Whoever it is seems to be going out rather than swimming in. What do you think?”

Together they peered, watching closely until an arm was raised. Then a flailing and the dot disappeared.

“I think it’s a child. Here.” He pulled free, tore off his jacket and tossed it to her. In a second his shirt came off and he’d stepped out of his trousers and shoes in one fluid movement. Another breath and he’d gone. All that remained beside her were his dropped clothes.

He’d jumped.

She quickly bent and folded the garments, hanging them over her arm and, tucking his shoes into the crook of her elbow, she hugged all of them to her chest. She stood up, her heart racing with fear as she guessed what he’d done.

Sure enough when she looked there were now two black dots in the surf, one larger than the other. Already the surf had grown and running through the waves a channel of calm water cut its way out past the breakers. Its smooth surface looked deceptively calm to anyone who didn’t know how to read the surf. This strong strip of undertow would have pulled the child out and she could see William moving across the surf, parallel with the breakers, away from the slicing strip that threatened to pick them up and carry them further out.

She hadn’t even known he could swim. Surely he must be a strong swimmer? Why else leap into climbing surf? Another hole in the knowledge she had of William’s abilities.

Alone on the cliff edge she stared in horror, realising the danger he’d put himself in and she locked her gaze on the two black dots and concentrated as hard as she could. Would it work? Anything was worth a try, because standing here, windswept and abandoned, clutching the wooden railing with her one free hand wasn’t going to be of any use to William if she didn’t try and do something. With everything to lose if it didn’t work she locked her gaze onto the spot in the roiling water where he’d been visible a second beforehand and took her consciousness into the surf to search for him.

Blogger Interview with S.L. Stacy!

masquerade3

She’s one of my favorite bloggers and someone I’m excited to introduce you to.  She’s a college student but also loves to write in her free time.  Her first novel, The Fallen, a Paranormal Romance, is almost completed.  Apart from working on the novel, she also writes fan fiction.  If you want to check out some sneak peeks of The Fallen, take a look HERE to read some chapters from it.

1.  Tell me about the book you’re writing and what your plans for it are in the future.

The book I’m currently writing is tentatively called The Fallen -the working title has changed several times and will probably change again! It opens with our main character Siobhan encountering a mysterious, seriously injured man in the woods who transfers to her a kind of “super power,” I guess you could call it. She thinks he’s probably dead until he turns up as her Teaching Assistant for one of her college electives. It’s a fantasy/paranormal romance with a bit of mystery since she slowly unravels the truth about him and her connection to him. I’m enjoying writing it, but I’m not sure what my plans are for it. I will probably write some query letters once it’s done/edited while at the same time preparing to self-publish it.

2.  Coffee, tea or soda?

Coffee. I used to hate coffee, but somehow it’s become a necessity every morning. 🙂 Of course I dump cream and sugar into it….

3.  I loved with the Labyrinth movie (and always wanted Sarah’s dress) when I was kid. I thought it was interesting that you were a big Bowie fan as well. Where were you first introduced to his music or found a liking for him?

I was actually first introduced to Bowie one Christmas back in high school because they always play that duet he did with Bing Crosby on the radio (Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth). I had heard of him but had never realized he had such an amazing voice. (I was listening to too much pop music back then, haha!) Strangely enough I didn’t get around to watching Labyrinth until college. I love that it still has a cult following now.

4.  Why did you start blogging?

I originally started blogging to post some of my old fiction and to get back to writing some new stories, which I’ve definitely been motivated to do. But it’s also turned into me writing about books, TV shows, music and other things that I like, which has been fun, too.

5. You mention you write fan fiction. Tell me more about that.

Usually when I get an idea for a fan fiction piece, it’s usually a short romantic or sexy scene between two central characters on a TV show that I like. For some reason, I’ve really been coming up with a lot of ideas from the show Once Upon A Time (OUAT). I’ve posted a few OUAT fan fiction short stories on my blog; this summer I’m planning to post some longer ones. Although the script is sometimes cheesy, I love how none of the characters on this show are completely good or evil. I think that’s a great theme to explore in writing. Also, it gives me several bad boys to over-analyze. 😉

To top off this awesome interview, I’ll give you a tease of S.L’s novel, The Fallen.

In this excerpt Siobhan and Anna try and find out if Jasper is the same man they met long ago-the man who ‘changed’ Siobhan.

“What’s your favorite ancient culture, Jasper?” the hipster to my left asks. “What’s your favorite myth?”

“I enjoy Greek mythology the most,” Jasper replies. “In general I tend to enjoy the stories that are more obscure. My favorite Greek myth is the love affair between Ares and Aphrodite.”

“Why’s that?” a girl asks. She’s on the fringes of the group and cranes her head around the guy sitting next to her so that Jasper sees her. “I didn’t think there was much of a story there.”

“I disagree,” Jasper says smoothly. “I think that the love stories of the gods are great examples of early guilty pleasure entertainment. Aphrodite and Ares’ relationship was sexy and forbidden.”

“So what is the story?” Anna wonders, looking around the group as if she’s missing something.

“Aphrodite, goddess of love and beauty, was forced to marry Hephaestus, the god of fire. Hephaestus is typically portrayed as being ugly and deformed. During their marriage, Aphrodite is unfaithful to him a number of times.”* Jasper’s silky voice is infused with an intense passion for this subject. The entire table has grown subdued, enraptured. This is the sexiest history lesson I’ve ever had.

“One of her affairs is with Hephaestus’ stepbrother, Ares, the god of war. When Hephaestus finds out, he tells Aphrodite he is going to be gone for a few days, but he sets a trap for them –a metal net that drops on Aphrodite and Ares when they’re in bed together, exposing their affair to Hephaestus and the rest of the Olympian Gods. Humiliating them.” There’s a bitter edge to these last two, more quietly spoken words. I wonder if anyone else has noticed.

A few of the others jump in with their favorite myths, although none of them captivate the group like Jasper did. Closer to eight, Anna leans toward me and whispers, “Do you want to talk after this? We can go to my place. I’ll give you a ride back later.”

“Um, sure,” I mumble back, again caught off guard.

Scattered “thank you’s” and squeaking chairs make me realize that everybody is getting ready to leave.

“I’m going to get some tea,” Anna informs me. I nod and decide to wait for her at the table. I get out my phone to text Tanya that I won’t be back until later. I think that everyone has left until I look up and see Jasper Mars standing up but lingering by the table.

I smile up at him. “Thanks for your help tonight,” I tell him to fill the silence. “I think it’s going to be a very interesting course.”

He responds with a smile of his own –a slow, deliberate smile that doesn’t show his teeth. “I hope so.” The smile disappears, and his dark, penetrating eyes seem to sweep me up and down, even though I’m still sitting. “You and Anna are looking well.” He turns on his heel and strides briskly away before I can come up with something to say.

“Ready to go?” Anna asks me, jiggling her car keys in one hand, her paper cup of tea in the other. I’m still staring at the spot Jasper has just vacated, dumbfounded.

Author Interview: Lena Hart

BecauseYouAreMine_SM (1)Lena is the author of, Because You Love Me and soon to be released, Because You Are Mine.  She’s a Contemporary Romance author, who focuses on relationships between interracial couples.  She believes it’s important to present strong black heroines in her stories and also show that love can be found anywhere, regardless of any cultural or social barriers there may be.  And unlike other romances her stories come with a hint of mystery and danger added to the mix.  And who doesn’t like danger?! I do…

“Keep reading. Keep writing. And never give up!”

-Lena Hart

1.  What is your favorite book?

I read in different genres so I have quite a few favorites in each. But for contemporary, I have to say it would be one of Catherine Coulter’s earlier works, Beyond Eden. It’s an intriguing romantic suspense that took me on a roller-coaster ride the first time I read it!

2.  Do you have any other talents besides writing?

I love cooking. I think I may have been a chef in a previous life. I cook anything and everything, from ethnic dishes, such as Caribbean, Asian, to healthy – and not-so-healthy – dishes. I also have a mean sweet tooth so I’m always trying my hand at baking cookies, cakes, and pies.

3.  Introduce us to your muse.

My muse keeps me on my toes! She’s a complete scatter brain, easily distracted, and stubborn. But she’s never without good ideas, which she likes dropping on me at the most inconvenient times – like in the shower, cleaning, on the treadmill, or dozing off to sleep. And it’s hard to get her to buckle down and focus on one story, which is why I have a growing to-be-written pile. But when I put my foot down, she tends to work with me and the stories unfold effortlessly. She’s hard to work with but she’s all I’ve got.

4.  What’s harder to write; a beginning or an end?

The beginning. For me, it’s harder to write because you don’t know when and where to start the story so the reader gets hooked. Timing is everything and, as a writer, you need to hook, engage, and inform all in the first three pages!

5.  Any tips for writing a great love scene?

Hmmm… I tend to write my love scenes in bed. It’s a bit annoying because I have to transfer my writing from my desktop to my laptop but it’s hard for me to get in the “mood” (with my characters) when I’m sitting at an upright, rigid desk. Writing a great love scene is all about getting in the mood 🙂

Check out her book, Because You Are Mine, which is available now!  I don’t have an excerpt to share with you but I’ll leave you with a blurb about her new book!

Excerpt from Because You Are Mine

“He crouched down in front of her, fighting the urge to lean down and kiss her smooth, graceful neck. She was a natural beauty, and in sleep she was achingly so.”

Betrayal cuts deep, especially when it comes from someone you trust. And no one understands this better than Cara Sinclair’s old love, now new boss, Drake Ross. Growing up, these two shared an undeniable bond until they found themselves in a fight for their lives. Twelve years later, fate conspires to bring them back together.
